Who provides investigative assistance in workplace violence situations?
It’s not the workplace violence coordinator because he doesn’t conduct investigations,
It is the HR, investigative center of expertise. COE.
All investigation shall be conducted in accordance with ADM – 14 internal department investigations
Who do I report an incident, threat of incident or potential incident violence?
Immediately to my Immediate supervisor.
How long do I have to make notification to the workplace violence coordinator on an incident of workplace violence?
Within 72 hours of the incident utilizing SP390 workplace violence, incident report.
As a supervisor, who do I report any incident of workplace violence to?
Troop/Section duty officer and
the workplace safety incident, team member designated to my division.
As a station commander, what are my responsibilities for workplace violence?
Ensure necessary written workplace protection plans are for employees or victims workplace violence and;
Copy of the workplace protection plan with the workplace violence coordinator.
What does the workplace violence coordinator do?
Review final reports of workplace violence.
Make recommendations to the division commander of standards and training and the workplace violence safety team.
Coordinating schedule meetings as needed with workplace safety team.
Annually report statistical data relative to workplace violence incidents within the department to the division commander of standard & training.
