Who should be notified of potential hazards upon their arrival? (3)
- PRP

What is responsibilities of driver of apparatus to provide personnel with post incident? (2)
- hand sanitizer
2. Oxivir Tb, Aegis wipes or Accel Five wipes for cleaning of non-disposable equipment.
How many bags does apparatus driver dispose of contaminated medical equipment?
double bagged
Where does double bagged waste disposal bags go on apparatus?
in compartment, not cab of truck
Who is notified of full waste receptacle?
A&M Division who will arrange pick-up with waste disposal company.
Where does waste disposal bag go if it cannot fit in waste receptacle?
on floor beside waste receptacle.
What must personnel do before entering living quarters after medical response?
wash hands for minimum 20 seconds and sanitize rings
Whom shall be notified of significant medical exposure?
Designated Officer (SOG 8-08)
How close is patient assessent be performed at?
2 metres
What is fire personnel protocol if Ambulance arrives prior to Fire and makes patient contact?
fire personnel to stage on-scene and request Fire Control to confirm if assistance req’d
How many personnel are req’d to make paitent contact prior to ambulance’s arrival?
limited to one FF, at discretion of Captain
Where shall Captain be positioned as FF makes patient contact?
at entrance and remain in radio contact/ and/ or line of sight with entry person.
