- complete a RIT worksheet
- stage equipment
- discuss situation w/ IC, ECP and ISO
- familiarize themselves with structure layout

- prepare lighting
- ensure multiple means of egress (ladder windows, roofs, remove obstacles- bars, chains, locks)
What must Level 2 actions be aware of?
adverse reactions of making rescue openings. RIT should consult with IC and ventilation crews before acting.

- Level 1 RIT equipment
- Lights
- forcible entry tools (K23, bullet saw)
- cribbing and shoring equipment
- heavy hydraulics/ air bags
