It is secreted by the pituitary gland and causes the egg to mature in the ovaries; it also stimulates the ovaries to produce oestrogen.
What does LH stand for?
Luteinising hormone
What is LH and where is it produced?
It is secreted by the pituitary gland and causes the egg to be released from the ovaries, also stimulating the release of progesterone from the ovaries.
