What are features of meconium ileus?
Presents within 24-48 hours of life with abdo distension and bilious vomiting

Fever

What is the protocol of contraception in women going through menopause?
<50 years, contraception continued until 24 months after last period
>50 years contraception continued until 12 months after last period

1) Pelvic floor training
2) Surgical procedure
3) duloxetine if surgery declined
What are symptoms of acousitc neuroma?
Vertigo, unilateral hearing loss, unilateral tinnitus (CNVIII)
Absent corneal reflex (CNV)
Facial palsy (CNVII)
What is the management of scalp psoriasis?
Potent topical corticosteroids once daily for 4 weeks
If no improvement then different formulation of steroid (shampoo/mousse) and/or topical agents e.g. emollients to remove scale before applying steroid
What are features of adhesive capsulitis?
Features deelop over days
External rotation impaired- active and passively
Freezing phase, adhesive phase and recovery phase
Difficulty sleeping on affected side
Seen in women and diabetics more
What are side effects of ethambutol?
Optic neuritis
What are side effects of Pyrazinamide?
Hepatitis
Hyperuricaemia causing gout
Arthraliga, Myalgia
What are side effects of Isonazid?
Peripheral neuropathy- prevent using vitamin B6
Hepatitis
Agranulocytosis
What are side effects of Rifampicin?
Liver enzyme inducer
Hepatitis
Orange secretions
Flu like symptoms
What are side effects of Phenytoin?
Dizziness
Rash
Peripheral neuropathy- glove and stocking
Bleeding gums
Nystagmus
Slurred speech
