What are symptoms of macular degeneration?
Reduction in visual acuity (rapid in wet)
Difficulty seeing in the dark
Fluctuations in visual disturbance
Flashing/flickering lights
Glare around objects
Visual hallucinations (Charles Bonnet syndrome)
What medications should be commenced following ACS?
Dual antiplatelet therapy (for 12 months if PCI happens)
Ramipril
Beta blocker
Statin
What is Scarlet fever?
Coarse red resh and strawberry tongue, sore throat, headache, fever
Treat with 10 days PenV or azithromycin if pen allergic
What is the management of rosacea?
Simple- suncream
Predominant erythema/flushing- topical brimonidine
Mild to moderate- topical ivermectin/metronidazole/aselaic acid
Moderate to severe papules/pustules- topical ivermectin and oral doxycycline
What are the spirometry results in obstructive lung disease?
FEV1- significantly reduced
FVC- reduced or normal
FEV1/FVC- reduced
What is the Bishop score?
