A

Skin condition caused by exposure to heat e.g. heatpacks/ water bottles

Seen also in people with hypothyroidism and lymphoedema

Treat with topical tretinoin or laser

- unexplained visible haematuria without UTI
- visible haematuria that persists despite abx treatment for UTI

What is the management of bladder cancer?

A

Non muscle invasive tumours
- BCG vaccine

Muscle invasice
- radiacl cystectomy and node dissection
- platinum chemo before cystectomy recommended

Non surgical candidates
- chemotherapy and radiation
- small volume disease= partial cystectomy

Immunotherapy can be used if not fit for chemotherapy

Starts as erythematous nodule and grows over 3-4 weeks
Central keratin filled crater which forms a plug
Should heal on its own or can have surgical repair to minimise scarring
