- Mainly the result of liver heat being transmitted to the blood, making it hot

Naturopathic Advice:
A
- Avoid energetically hot food, in particular garlic, hot spices, alcohol and anything that might cause toxicity
- Avoid anything that contributes to the underlying cause of the blood heat, e.g. toxins, chronic stress, unresolved anger

- Eat blood-cooling foods: Mung beans, celery stalks, cucumber, bitter greens, curcuma, bitter melon
- Supervised fasting
