A
Calcium phosphate (also used as a tissue salt).

A
The bone re-enforcer.

Mental picture:
A
- Energy can be low and accompanied by mental weakness or collapse.
- Loss of motivation, mental apathy.
- Sensitive, dissatisfied, sigh a lot.
- Children whine, are irritable and easily bored, can be badly behaved.

General picture:
A
- Physical ailments often concern bones, joints, teeth or digestion.
- Low energy with physical weakness.
- Illness can follow bad news.
- Digestion and assimilation may be poor.
- ‘Failure to thrive’.
- In school children, stress related to school may result in phobias, abdominal pain or headaches.

Indications (if they fit the symptom picture):
A
- Broken bones; where bones are slow to knit together. Calc. phos. 6C, 5 drops / 3 pills under the tongue 3 x daily for 2 weeks (works well taken alongside Symphytum 6C / 12C).
- Any bone surgery e.g., hip replacement, spinal fusions.
- Osteoporosis / osteopenia
- Useful during growth spurts or for growing pains.
- Teething problems / slow dentition, easy decay.
- Lactose intolerance / intolerance to milk.

Case example:
A
- A 5-year-old little girl was climbing a tree and fell awkwardly, resulting in a wrist fracture.
- To encourage prompt healing she was given Calc. phos. 6C and Symphytum 6C to be taken 3 x daily for 2 weeks. (This was only given once the bone was set and secured to ensure appropriate healing).
- Her splint was taken off in 2 weeks and she rapidly began recovering her strength in the wrist.
