On individual requirements depend on:
* Age (children, adults, the elderly)
* Illness (allergies, digestive issues, diabetes)
* Physical activity (Active or not so active)
* Treatment (thyroid, chemotherapy, drugs)
* Environment (cold, hot or damp climate)
* Constitution (dry, damp, toxic)
* Ethical, spiritual, religious beliefs
* The body requests food as needed – learn to listen to the body’s needs

* 50% complex carbohydrates
* 25% healthy fats
* 25% protein
Eat a variety of foods from these groups to ensure you get all nutrients

Mainly omega-3 fats from food and smaller amounts of other healthy fats

Protein from fish, vegetarian sources or occasional animal products
