Hamamelis virginiana, witch hazel.

Use:
A
Haemorrhoids and varicose veins.

Mental picture:
A
- Can be haughty or discontented.
- Easily offended if others don’t pay attention to their opinion.

General picture:
A
- Haemorrhoids, varicose veins, venous congestion with bruised soreness of affected parts.
- Soreness felt on touching or pressing affected part.
- May also be stinging pain.

Indications (if they fit the symptom picture):
A
- Phlebitis
- Any distension of veins —varicose veins, variocele, varicies.
- Haemorrhoids (internal and external).
- For external haemorrhoids —additionally use the remedy topically.
- Combine 3 pills of hamamelis 30C, together with 3 pills of Calc. fluor. tissue salt, crush and mix into a paste with coconut oil.
- Apply paste to the haemorrhoids 3 x daily. The sooner started, the more likely it is that the paste can clear the haemorrhoid.
- Can also be used topically for varicose veins.
