Premature birth
low birth weight
male
smoking during pregnancy

How to minimise the risk to the baby?
A
Put baby on back when not supervised
keep room at good temperature
avoid smoking or handling baby after smoking
avoid co sleeping
keep cot free of excess toys and blankets
place baby at foot of bed (so they can’t slide down under covers)
