What is the spirometer trace
A price of equipment that measure the capacity of human lungs
What is inspiratory reverse volume
The amount if air that can be forced in after tidal Volume
It decreases during exercise
What is tidal volume
The normal amount of air inhaled and exhaled per breath
It increases with exercise
What is the exploratory reverse volume
The amount of air that can be forced out after tidal volume
It decreases during exercise
What is the residual volume
The amount of air that remain in the lungs after maximal expiration
There is no change during exercise
What is vital capacity
The largest volume of air that can be forcibly expired after the deepest possible inspiration
How do you work out the TOTAL LUNG CAPACITY
Vital capacity + residual volume
How do you work out the vital capacity
Tidal volume + inspiratory reverse volume + exploratory reverse volume
