(2) Introduction
Ex Eager Lion is joint military training
between the Jordan Armed Forces and the ADF
run yearly according to the 2011 agreement between Jordan and Aus

The aim of this brief is to provide some preliminary/ essential information on Ex EL17

(5) Background
Ex Eager Lion 2017 will be conducted in NSW
by using the 2 Air Base airports Williams and Glenbrook
with participation by about 990 Australian, Jordanian and Iraqi military pers

It was determined that Jordan is the lead country for Ex Eager Lion 2017.
The planning for the exercise will be done by coordination with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mohammed Al-Zaben
