Crepitus; cracking/grating sound of joints at movement
OA Lab assessment
ESR: inflammation indicator
hsCRP: high sensitivity, indicated autoimmune disease
Slightly elevated or normal ESR and hsCRP levels so not a concrete indicator of Oa
Xray will tell for sure that its OA
Implementations for OA
Managing pain
Early ambulation to prevent further stiffness and DVT

Xrays, CT scan can be assessed as well
Implementations for RA
Managing chronic inflammation and pain: NSAID’s
Promoting mobility
Nurse is taking history of a 45 F
Reports ongoing fatigue, joint pain and difficulty moving in the morning
