Ethnicity: asian women greater risk
Poor nutrition
Substance abuse
Sedentary lifestyle
What to look for to diagnose osteoporosis
Loss of height
Curvature of spine
Low back pain
Fracture of forearm, spine or hip
What can be done to prevent osteoporosis
Exercise
Healthy lifestyle: high calcium and Vitamin D
Bone loss prevention medications
