Progressive muscular relaxation (PMR) is an easy technique which involves tensing and relaxing muscles to reduce muscle tension.

PMR is performed by tensing each body part for 10 seconds then releasing; forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth, shoulders, arms, lower back, legs, feet and toes
