What is performance profiling?
Performance profiling is a self assessment method with a list of desired elements and an analysis of self performance based on strengths and areas of improvement of these elements.
How to use performance profiling?
Performance profiling has 5 steps: identifying qualities and placing them around the chart; rating the atheltes out of 10 on each quality, discuss the strengths and areas for improvement, agree on final goals based off of ththe chart and repeat the process regularly to monitor improvement.
When to use performance profiling?
Performance profiling shouod be used at the start of a season and repeated at regular intervals to monitor progress. Also at the end of seasons to see the whole progress.
Why do we use performance profiling?
We use performance profiling as it increases motivation, develops self awareness, identfiies psychological strengths and weaknesses and monitors and evaluates progress.
