A

Clavicular head attaches to clavicle,
Sternocostal head attaches to sternum and ribs,
Fibres from both heads attach to Intertubercular groove of humerus

Holds the scapula against rib cage (useful when arm reaches anteriorly e.g. Punching - boxers therefore have a prominent serratus anterior)
