the physiologic valgus of 6 degrees

what is considered pathological varus or valgus?
A
when they knees are +/- 6 degrees from the mean value for age measurements can be taken from x-rays and charted against normal reference ranges

how to manage bow legs (knees far apart) and knock knees (knees close together)?
A
majority of cases resolve by the age of 10 but genu varum or excessive genu valgum after age of 10 may need surgery
