The U.S. capital isn't the most powerful state. If the U.S. capital gets destroyed the U.S. would still function, unlike our European counterparts.

- Farmers who fought in the Rev War didn't get paid so they couldn't pay for taxes. - A law passed where the poor would pay as much as the rich. - Goods weren't accepted cause the tax collectors wanted cash. - Farmers would be put into prison cause they didn't pay their taxes. -They surrounded the court - The court would let them pay their taxes in good but didn't address the other concerns - So they surrounded the court again
