- short term treatment of active duodenal ulcer or benign gastric ulcer
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (high secretions)
- stress-induced ulcers and acute upper GI bleeding in critical patients
- GERD
- heartburn
- acid indigestion
- sour stomach
