Define Gut-tie
Gut-tie is a rare complication of surgical castration of older calves. The remnant of the ruptured spermatic cord/ductus deferens recoils into the abdomen and can become adherent to the abdominal wall or viscera causing a slow onset mechanical obstruction of the bowel
