Why are adults less likely to get a respiratory disease than young stock?
They are more likely to possess adaptive immunity and less susceptible to stressors

What are the causative agents of acute bacterial pneumonia?
Mannheimia haemolytica and/or pasteurella multocida

- Develops following incomplete recovery from pneumonia
- Often after calving or stress

T. pyogenes

What are the main clinical signs of fog fever?
- 1-2 weeks after moving to lush aftermath
- Overgorging on alfalfa, rape, kale, and turnip tops
- NO COUGHING
- NORMAL RECTAL TEMP
What causes Farmer’s Lung?
Housed cattle eating mouldy hat
Will you hear a murmur with endocarditis in cattle?
No murmur in >70% of cases
