person and their familys lifestyle. positive or negative effect on health and wellbeing.
what employment situations are there?
employed and unemployed.
what can finances be affected by?
persons occupation, job role, job status, level of responsibility or expertise.
who might someone be employmed by?
part time/ full time, self-employed/ working for a company/ other inderviudal.
what might someone be unemployed?
not able to find work, made redundant, unable to work because of family commitments or a disability.
what does financial reasources describe?
money and personal wealth that a person has at their disposal.
what is income?
money that a person recieves at regular intervals such as a salary, pensions, allowences such as universal credit, carers allowence, income from investments.
what is inheritance?
money or other assets such as property or jewellery that is left to a person after the death of another.
what is savings?
money that is set aside, often in banks, to spend on something specific in the future.
who lives in absolute poverty?
people with limited financial reasources without money to meet the basic needs.
who lives in relative poverty?
people with reduced financial reasources and can only pay for basic needs.
