-shoulder width stance
-loose finger grip on bar
-hands just outside shoulders

What is the execution of the FRONT SQUAT?
-hips descend back and down
-lumbar curve maintained
-knees in line with toes
-hips descend lower than knees
-heels down
What is the finish of the FRONT SQUAT?
-complete at full hip and knee extension
What fault is present here?
Improper rack position where the bar is not in contact with the torso.
What corrections could you give to the fault (improper rack position) present here?
-ensure the athelete has an open grip and the bar is resting on finger tips
-cue “elbows high!”
-manually adjust the rack position
What fault is present here?
Elbows drop during squat.
What corrections could you give to the fault (elbows drop druing squat) present here?
-encourage athlete to move thier elbows away from trainers hands
-cue “elbows up!” and encourage athlete to lift chest
