What are Direct oral anti-coagulants (DOACs)
The intrinsic & the extrinsic clotting cascade come together at factor X.
These all prevent factor X from becoming active.
How many anti coags are there licensed for use in the UK and how many of those are DOAC’s?
There are 5 anti coags licensed for use in the UK, 4 of which are DOAC’s
