  • May vary depending on religious beliefs of deceased.
  • Will often be conducted with a much smaller detail than the Military funeral (sometimes as few as 3 or 4 people conducting the service).

  • Occurs here in most cases
  • May be held in conjunction with a religious committal service or may be the entire committal service.
  • Chaplain leads the casket (usually covered with a US flag) from the hearse to the grave.
