A

Endometrial tissue (normally lining the inside of the uterus) becomes implanted OUTSIDE uterus

Risk Factors:
- Women of childbearing age
- Early menarche, short menstrual cycles
- Family hx

Clinical Presentation:
- Can be mild, moderate, or severe
- 3 KEY s/sx: DYSMENORRHEA, DYSPAREUNIA, INFERTILITY
- Low back & pelvis pain (CYCLIC pain w/ menstrual cycle)
