2 factors for fetal status - Positioning and pushing
Avoid supine position due to hypotension
- Side lying and semi-fowler with lateral tilt are the best positions
- Keep mouth open and use open glottis pushing to improve fetal oxygenation

A
- Continue IV but discontinue oxytocin to stop contractions
- Position patient in left lateral and elevate legs to increase perfusion
- Administer O2 to increase fetus oxygenation
- Assess patient response and report to PCP
