Sleep Deprivation:
A state caused by inadequate quantity or quality of sleep, either voluntarily or involuntarily.

Partial Sleep Deprivation:
Involves having less sleep than what is normally required. May occur periodically or persistently over the short or long term.
Effects of Partial Sleep Deprivation:
Tend to be minor and temporary. Long night’s sleep tend to overcome effects of sleep deprivation.

Amplified emotional responses

Mood changes - Irritable, short tempered
Behavioural 1:
Sleep Inertia - Feeling groggy and disoriented upon waking

Impaired problem solving and decision making
Cognitive 2:
Lapses in attention and inability to maintain prolonged concentration
