3
Q

advantages of conceptual modelling

A
  1. allow for client feedback
  2. learn from the mistakes made while modelling => reduce cost of error
  3. communicate function + aesthetics of a complex idea even for non designers etc
  4. explore possibilities without producing working prototype (so cost and time saved)

4
Q

disadvantages of conceptual modelling

A
  1. simple => miss out on important detail
  2. may not represent final product (materials, proportions)
  3. durability may not allow it to be used by user
