I left Paris and have been living in the Toulouse region for the last ten years, a choice made with my family to have a better quality of life.
I worked for a long time for TV and then for 창업. I have 4 children who live in Paris, Montreal and Toulouse.
J’ai quitté Paris et j’habite la région toulousaine depuis une dizaine d’années, un choix fait en famille pour avoir une meilleure qualité de vie.
Je travaille longtemps pour la télé puis une création d’entreprise et j’ai 4 enfants qui vivent à Paris, Montréal et Toulouse.
I started blogging to share a trip around the world and reassure our surroundings during our journey.
The travelers’ corner was born at return to continue this journey and share my passion with other travelers.
J’ai commencé à bloguer pour partager un voyage autour du monde et rassurer notre entourage pendant notre périple.
Le coin des voyageurs a vu le jour au retour pour continuer ce voyage et partager ma passion avec d’autres voyageurs.

You have undertaken a world tour with your family. Can you tell us more about the choice of countries and the organization of the trip? How did you agree on the stages of the trip?
Vous avez entrepris un tour du Monde avec votre famille. Pouvez-vous nous en dire plus sur le choix des pays et l’organisation du voyage ? Comment vous êtes-vous mis d’accord sur les étapes du voyage ?

The countries were chosen together taking into account our budget (balance between expensive and more affordable countries), the seasons (we wish to be able to wear the same wardrobe everywhere and avoid being overloaded), and the time we had available. The important thing was to spend time together and discover the world with our children.
Les pays ont été choisis en commun en tenant compte de notre budget (équilibre entre pays chers et pays plus abordables), des saisons (nous souhaitons pouvoir porter la même garde-robe partout et éviter de nous charger), et du temps dont nous disposions. L’important était de passer du temps ensemble et de découvrir le monde avec nos enfants.

Your children were in school. How did you manage the schooling of your children during this world tour?
Vos enfants étaient scolarisés. Comment avez-vous géré la scolarité de vos enfants pendant ce tour du monde ?
We left at the beginning of June (before the end of classes) and returned in January the following year. So finally in 7 months of travel, the children only missed one and a half terms. Agathe was 16 years old and she worked alone, remaining attached to her high school in Toulouse with an e-mail connection from time to time with some teachers. She talks about it in this interview if you are interested. She passed her bac!
Nous sommes partis début juin (avant la fin des cours) et sommes rentrés en janvier l’année suivante. Donc finalement en 7 mois de voyage, les enfants n’ont manqué qu’un trimestre et demi. Agathe avait 16 ans et elle a travaillé seule en restant rattachée à son lycée toulousain avec une liaison par e-mail de temps en temps avec quelques professeurs. Elle en parle dans cette interview si ça vous intéresse. Elle a réussi son bac !
Léo-Paul was 12 years old and in 8th grade. He followed the courses but they were not easy to manage. In short, he repeated his 8th grade year.
