Q

impact of treaty on germany (3)

A
  • political violence, tight wing opponents of Eberts government couldn’t bear the treaty and this led to the Kapp Putsch
  • loss of Ruhr, Germany was taking too long to pay France for the reparations (as they didn’t actually have that money) so france decided to invade the Ruhr
  • hyperinflation, the governnment decided to solve the problem of not having enough money by just printing out more, but this caused hyperinflation
