politics for women
Women were not allowed to vote, they were not allowed to be a part of the government or have any say in the political decisions of the country.
Why were women not allowed to have jobs/ political say in nazi germany
because Hitler believed they should be focusing on increasing the population of the Aryan race. He believed they should think about staying at home, caring for their family.

-They should be modestly dressed
- Considered pretty if they had blue eyes, blonde hair, fair skin, and were fit
-Make up was discouraged and they were encouraged to dress traditionally to promote racial purity
work for women
Women were not allowed to work, they were excluded from paid employment. They needed to stay home to take care of the children, teach their daughters how to cook, sew and plait hair.
freedom and free will for women
Women had very little freedom, they were expected to stay healthy so that they could produce a lot of babies. Drinking and smoking was seen as very unladylike.
optimal family size and how were women encouraged to have more kids
The bigger the family the better, women who had a large number of children were rewarded with the honour cross and medals.
Contraception and abortions were made illegal.

- Birth rates increased by 30% from 1933 to 1936
- Unemployment went down from over 5 million in 1932 to less than 1 million in 1938
- Many women supported Hitlers ideas and Germany seemed a safer society and law and order was good

- Despite propaganda, women’s employment went up as people preferred to hire women as they were cheaper
- Some women felt undermined and didn’t like giving up their jobs

why was there a need to indoctrinate the youth and control their education?
- Easier to indoctrinate them before they can form their own opinions
- You are informing the next generation
- Easier to indoctrinate the youth as they’re more susceptible
