by signign the locarno treaties, germany showed that it was accepting the terms of the TOV and so a year later it was accepted as a permanent member of the council of the league-
making it one of the most powerful countries in the league

how successfull were stressemans foreign policies
Stresemann’s policies were quite successful in resolving Germany’s
problems. This is clearly seen
through the Locarno treaties as it led to Germany being admitted into the league of Nations, it led to the removal of French invasion in the Ruhr and created a sense o peace. The League of Nations and Kelogg Briand Pact also allowed Gemany to resolve its outcast problem as it an outcast as it was now in support /ally with other countries. Although the Kellogg. Brand Pact was considered somewhat useless because it didn’t prevent conflicts like WW2, the other foreign policies resolved some of Germanys problems up to some point.

in 1927, the government introduced unemployment insurance which meant that workers could recieve cash benefits if they became unemployed
