What are the borders of the femoral triangle?
The superior border is formed by the Inguinal ligament which runs from the ASIS to the pubic tubercle.
the lateral border is formed of the medial border of the sartiourus, and the medial border is formed by the medial border of the adductor longus
What are the contents of the femoral triangle?
The femorl nerve, the femroal artery, the femoral vein and the femroal canal
Where would you find the femoral puse?
Just inferiorly to where the femoral artery crosses the inguinal ligament, which is midway between the pubic symphyysis and the ASIS
What are some of the clincal significances of the femoral triangle?
Access to the femoral artery can be used in a coronary angiography, and a femorlal hernia can be formed from the bowel in the femoral triangle
