FH ingests cysticercus by eating infected organ
Digested, scolex released, attaches to small intestine
Develops to adult
PPP: 56 days

How do you diagnose?
Eggs in fecal samples
How do you treat and prevent?
Cestocidal drugs - kill adult tapeworm
Infection prevented by not feeding offal to FH
