A

Driver is at the signal protecting his train:

  • Auto - driver protecting train does R1S3
  • HS - correct authority/ low speed caution (if available)
  • be piloted to train max of 15km/h

Driver is not at signal (at 500m point) :

  • Relief at AUTO - permission from TC for R1S3
  • relief at HS - correct authority or Low Sp. caution (if available)
  • Be piloted to train max of 15km/h

What is the speed when driving to relief train when unaccompanied by the pilot?

A

Reduced speed cautiously to 2kms. STOP at 2km point from disabled train, then 15km/h to protection point.

Then be piloted at 15km/h
