What must a driver do if there is an incorrect signal or incorrect route indicator?

A

Try to stop train b4 you go the wrong way (if safe to do so)

Call the signaller to check route is set for where you need to go

Receive new aspect/ indicator

OR IF NEXT SIGNAL HAS BEEN PLACED TO STOP :-
-Attempt to stop before signal
-Call signaler or TC
- Receive correct authority to pass the signal, if defective

A
  • Contact signaller or TC
    • Act under instructions
      Make a PA
  • Change ends
  • Obtain correct authority, and set back as instructed
  • Incident report
