A

Either white disc with red line across the middle shows red light when horizontal with green light when at 45 degrees. Also used as stacking signals

How do semaphore shunt signals that show a yellow aspect work

A

These can be either a black or white disc with a yellow line through the middle showing a yellow light. In this state you may pass but only onto a shunt neck

If yellow line is 45 degrees and showing a green light you are cleared to shunt past onto the main running line

A

No part of a train may pass a Limit of Shunt signal/indicator
(Unless authorised by the signaller)
