Integral portion of the tooth which consists of material that fills in space
What does the pulp contain?

What is the opening for blood/lymph vessels called?
Apical foramen
What does the apical foramen do?
Controls blood supply
Size of the apical foramen?
.4mm in maxillary teeth to .3mm in mandibular teeth
What are the two types of pulp?
Coronal pulp and radicular pulp
Where is coronal pulp found?
In the pulp chamber
Where is radicular pulp found?
In the pulp canals
What are the general functions of pulp?
Formative, nutritive, sensory, defense
