How to fix a jaw that is locked open?
Place thumbs on the occlusal surface of the mandibular posterior teeth and press down and back slowly
What is bruxism?
Grinding of the teeth which occurs primarily while sleeping
What can bruxism eventually cause?
- Permanent wear down of the teeth
- Tired and sore TMJ
How can bruxism be treated?
Wearing a plastic night guard
