A03- who judges?
Many people engage in behaviour that is maladaptive or harmful or threatening to self but aren’t classed as abnormal for example smoking and drinking
A03- some people may be classed as functioning adequately but do not have a psychological disorder
For example someone in family dying and you going to work or school the next day isn’t normal
A03- some people do have a psychological disorder but are able to function adequately
Often show no sign of abnormality and hold a job or relationship down for example Dr Harold Shipman, killed a lot of people by giving them strong doses of medication and no one realised
