NC made it a formal requirement in trying to combat the potential problem of teachers only teaching a few activities
What is meant by critical performer?
Aims to provide knowledge of other roles in sport other than just the performer
E.g. Officiating, coaching, spectating, leadership roles
To appreciate physical activities in many different ways
