A skeleton which has evolved and adapted through the years to survive.
What are musculoskeletal disorders ?
Disorders which affect the animals bodys functioning and ability to move, some species breeds are more susceptible than others for example domesticated species which is mostly due to inbreeding.
What is osteochondritis ?
This occurs when the development of bone cartilage is stopped, this can be caused by genetics or trauma. Symptoms: lameness, weightbare.
List two adaptations in a giraffes skeleton ?
Long necks to be able to reach food and monitor the area for predators, their forelegs are 10 percent longer than hind legs to be able to support their long necks and muscle attachments.
List two Adaptations in a birds skeleton ?
More neck vertebrae’s to be able to groom feathers which keeps flight smooth, air cavities inside bones increasing air reaching cells.
