Call to Action (CTA)
a marketing term that refers to the next step or the action that the marketer wants the consumer to take. Calls to action can be as direct, such as a button that says “Buy Now,” or a softer CTA such as “Read More.”
Editorial Calendar
used by bloggers, publishers, businesses, and groups to control publication of content across different media, for example, newspaper, magazine, blog, email newsletters, and social media outlets.
Game Dynamics
The agents, objects, elements and their relationships in the game. They define the game as a rule-based system, specifying what there is, how everything behaves, and how the player can interact with the gameworld.
Game Mechanisms
are methods invoked by agents for interacting with the game world. I apply this definition to a comparative analysis of the games Rez, Every Extend Extra and Shadow of the Colossus that will show the relevance of a formal definition of game mechanics.
Gamification
the application of typical elements of game playing (e.g. point scoring, competition with others, rules of play) to other areas of activity, typically as an online marketing technique to encourage engagement with a product or service.
Infographic
a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information or data.
Keyword
a word or concept of great significance.
Kick-Off meeting

the use or study of poetic meters; prosody.
Qualitative Metrics
in online marketing measure the quality of customer interaction
Quantitative Metrics
e a class of metrics that are based on numbers.

A social media campaign is a coordinated marketing effort to reinforce or assist with a business goal using one or more social media platforms.
Social Media Funnel
a path that your customers travel through.
Status-Based Workflow
each piece of content is assigned a status, which indicates where the content is and where it goes next in the process.
