What does the circulatory system do
It pumps blood around the body. The blood contains oxygen, glucose, carbon dioxide, urea and other nutrients as well as white blood cells
What does the digestive system do
It breaks down and absrobs food molecules. It includes the stomach, small and large intestine, rectum, pancreas and liver
What is the gaseous exchange system
Takes in oxygen and removes CO2 in the lungs
What does the excretory system do
Releases wate products from the blood and passes the waste products into urine (not poo)

What is plasma
The clear,yellowish fluid part of the blood that carries blood cells
What are white blood cells?
They are part of your immune system that help your body to fight infection and other diseases
What is a red blood cell?
A type of blood cell that is made in the bone marrow and found in the blood. It contains a protein called haemoglobin, which carries oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body
What is a platelet
A tiny, disc shaped pice of cell that helps to form blood clots to slow or stop the bleeding and to help wounds heal
