Diabetes type 1
When you have type one diabetes, your body attacks the insulin producing cells in the pancreas so that it cant be produced. This is bad as without insulin, the glucose your body gets from food cannot get into the bodies cells and fuel your body. More and more glucose builds up in your bloodstream.
Diabetes type 2
When you have type 2 diabetes, the insulin your pancreas creates isnt enough or doesnt work properly. Without this proper function, your bodys cell cannot receive the glucose and be fuelled. With built up glucose levels, The body may continue the production of insulin which may tire out the pancreas and lead to even higher blood glucose levels.
Ash dieback
Ash dieback is caused by a fungus that affects the water transport system of trees. It is spread by the movement of diseased parts from infected trees
