What is the most important part of creating a brand?

A

The hardest part, you need to get it right with brands is its DNA‚ not just to engineer the room part or the Revenue Mgmt part of it to get it hyper efficient but to really create the right vibe in that hotel and to do it in a way where owners can drive profit.

Why do you need to create this budget brand?

A

Looking at the segments, you have a lot of customers that want to be in this urban environment but even with our lowest price product they just cant afford to be in this cities so so we are giving up a lot of business and we are not getting customers into our system early in their travel life, therefore creating really highly engineered room like micro room is important. That is where we came up with this concept of creating highly engineered micro room, 150 sqf. With unbelievable connectivity and flexibility as between the rooms unprecedented levels, with a really cool f&b, local vibes and public space is limited but very trendy, like small rooms on Steroides.
